Projects

LUCAS members undertake cutting-edge and impactful research in African studies, funded by external research funding bodies such as AHRC, ESRC, the British Academy, and the European Union. Much of this research is inter- and transdisciplinary, is carried out in collaboration with African-based academics and institutions, and develops innovative ways of achieving societal impact together with local partners.
